JSC “Slavneft-YANOS” gasoline entered the list of “Top 100 Russian products”

Two types of JSC "Slavneft-YANOS" oil products  are again praised with the award at the prestigious "top 100 Russian products" .

This year YANOS submitted for the contest 2 grades of gasoline. Unleaded gasoline Premium Euro-95 type II was recognized as the Laureate, Regular-92 unleaded gasoline, class 4 became the diploma winner. These two grades were also praised with "Novelty of the year" status. Their quality meets Euro-4 emission standard and modern ecological and operational requirements.

The optimal fractional makeup helps on with normal start of the engine in frigid weather conditions and its smooth performance in hot weather. Limited amount of aromatic and olefinic hydrocarbons in comparison with paraffin ones increases fuel heat value, decreases carbonaceous deposit and the amount of emissions into the air. By the way, methyl-tert-butyl ether included in the formula contributes to complete fuel combustion and removal of the previously formed deposits in the cylinders of the engine, valves and outlet manifold, however, the thermal condition of engine gets better.

These two grades output has started on January 1 of the current year. The company used to produce Euro-3 gasoline with a sulphur content not higher than 150 ррm. YANOS became one of the first refineries that switched to Euro-4 gasoline supply (with a

Maximum sulfur content of 50 ppm) in full scope. Since July 1, 2012 YANOS has changed to all kinds of engine oils (automobile gasoline and diesel fuel) of Euro-5 level supply and implemented the technical regulations requirements in advance.

It all became possible due to the systematic reconstruction and modernization of the production process and commissioning of the 2 new units in 2011: light naphtha isomerisation and FCC gasoline hydrotreatment. The first one allowed to eliminate the lack of light high-octane number components, the second one- to purify FCC gasoline from sulphur compounds, which is the heavy-tonnage  component of finished motor gasoline.
